Well it’s just a day after Valentine’s…Did many of your co workers receive flowers? If so, there’s no need to feel jealous because chances are it wasn’t a secret Romeo or romantic love. Of the 200 million roses sold on St. Valentine’s Day, a whopping 15 per cent are actually bought by women who sent the love tokens to themselves. Women are also the main customers when it comes to the almost one billion cards that are sent every February 14^th. The ladies account for an amazing 85 per cent of the purchases. The one billion number also applies to the amount of chocolates purchased annually as a gift. Times are changing and women are recognizing what makes them happy. For those women buying themselves flowers and or chocolates- well done! We’ll keep the economy strong -  well at least the chocolate and floral sales.
